In collaboration with The Remix Project, SPiN will showcase a one-of-a-kind limited edition ping pong paddle set, featuring street-art with circus themes and vintage classic movies using wheat-pasting, collage, spray and acrylic painting. It also pays homage to some of Chicago’s most amazing architecture, colors, brands and attractions.
The Remix Project is a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to help refine the raw talents of young people and support their creative pursuits, encouraging them to find success.
The piece was led by SPiN’s Artistic Director Mathieu “TiU” Forget, and brought to life by artist Jason Eano through the first-ever creative collaboration between the creative minds of Chicago based artists Marco Miller, Julius Torres, David Bozic, and Sarune. The end result is a perfect statement surrounding what SPiN is about: “Do it Together, Never Alone.”
Available for $149, the set is complete with one ping pong paddle, three bronze ping pong balls and a steel case to easily store. Additionally, 10 percent of all sales proceeds will benefit The Remix Project.
The SPiN x The Remix Project collection releases December 7th and can only be purchased inside the Chicago club.
